Ro Brooks - (Actor, Model, Voiceover Talent, Producer) Born Jerome Curtis Brooks Jr. in Baltimore, Maryland, Growing up in West Baltimore Ro's love for acting came naturally through time spent with his Grandmother and Great Aunt  who would encourage Ro and his sisters to perform dance and musical routines.

It was during his younger years Ro began developing his musical prowess by rapping and dancing at local events. While still attending school, Ro's early success started in 1986 when he got together with a group of friends and formed the rap and dance group "Twice as Nice". The group performed at local venues and later won a talent show that earned them a spot on the bill at Harlem's famed Apollo Theater for a taping of "Showtime at the Apollo". Twice As Nice went on to becoming the first rap and dance group to ever win at the Apollo in 1990.

In 1993 Ro landed his first role in a feature film, portraying a "Crip" gang member entitled "Meteor Man", directed by Robert Townsend. Although the shoot was grueling and at times arduous, it didn't prevent Ro from devoting all his effort and training on developing his character and perfecting his performance. His enthusiasm for the craft of film making intensified with every opportunity to be in front of the camera, as well as encouraged him to learn more about the inner workings of the film industry.

In 1994 Ro and his cousin Antonio Murchison opened Rome Records, a music store and record label combined in one, launching the careers of several local talents such as Scola, formally of the Platinum R&B group Dru Hill.

In 1997 Ro went his separate way and open Sounds-N-Da Hood, a music store inspired by his neighborhood. Sounds-N-Da Hood eventually closed in 2008 after relocating to Atlanta Georgia in 2006.

In 1999 Ro founded his own artist management company called "Lights Out Entertainment".

Since 1994 he has worked on over 30 movies and 6 television shows with recognizable performance's in HBO's "The Corner" and "Homicide", ultimately leading to national recognition from HBO's "The Wire" and the feature film "Charm City". Although his film and television careers were beginning to take off, Ro branched out pursuing other avenues of work that included lead performances in music videos such as Syleena Johnson's hit singles "I Am Your Woman" and "Guess What".

Ro also played two challenging rolls in Lil Mo's dynamic video "Gangsta" in which he portrayed her love interest as well as her younger brother. With supporting roles and cameo appearances in "T.I.'s "Dead and Gone",  Young Jeezy's "Put On",  50 Cent's "Wanksta",  Shyne's "Bonnie & Shyne",  Jill Scott's "A Long Walk", Ruff Endz "Where Does Love Go" and Musiq Soul Child's "Girl Next Door", Ro shows no signs of slowing down.

Ro has recently completed principle photography on these feature films scheduled to be released later this year and early next year, The Holloway Story, Transformers 2, Champion Road, 4 Minutes, Kerberos and The Jack Squad . With his upcoming slate of projects in development, Broken Blade, Slums 13, Fuse and Champion Road 2, the talented and versatile actor moves quickly toward the next step of his career's ladder, as well as allowing him opportunity to emerge as one of Hollywood's next leading men.
