GIVING BACK
M.O.C.I.T.I. (Men of Color in the Industry) and Engage The Vision LLC. We are actors, directors, writers, entertainment attorneys, producers, etc. and our mission is to SERVE. For the last 4 years I’ve been apart of these life changing families and we’ve chosen to serve underprivileged young men at Martin Luther King Elementary and the Barack Obama Global Preparation Academy.
With a large number of us coming from broken homes without a father present, we understand what the struggle is like for both the mom and the child. With that being said, we wanted to lend a hand in helping single moms by showing young men that they have a choice in life. Success is Possible.
We want them to know that you don’t have to except what’s given to you or what seems to look like this is all there is. We are not by any means trying to replace anyone’s father because that is impossible. We just want to be a support system for them when they need one.
